My first cycle

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie here looking to do my first cycle. I'm 56 years old, and over the last year I've dropped 30 pounds and packed on about 10 lbs of muscle. I'm still looking to drop 10 pounds of body fat, but I'm hoping to do this through body recomp. I train 6 days a week currently, and I'm on a low-dose TRT. My thought is to up my TRT to 200mg per week and add Primo at 200mg per week. I know those are both low, but for the first cycle, I'm looking to dip my toe, not do something radical. Will I see some body recomp with this cycle, what would everyone suggest to improve?

At 56 on TRT you can make progress with moderate increases, but whether 200 mg test plus 200 mg Primo will actually recomp you depends entirely on calories, protein, sleep, and how you’re responding now.
We can’t tell if that’s enough, too much, or unnecessary without seeing your current TRT dose, labs, bodyweight trend, and food intake.

Before changing anything, post a proper TRT log with weekly dose, pin schedule, full labs, daily calories, protein, bodyweight, training split, and sleep.
Once that’s up, the anabolex family can dial this in instead of guessing.

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you.
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Just a different perspective than what you may think in your head but anytime you use exogenous hormones it's not dipping your toes in; it's very serious. You might as well just push it and go hard at it rather than worry about keeping dosages so low that you'll barely see any results, if that makes sense.

Glad to see that you are posting your first cycle. Primo is a good one. You may want to also look into Anavar.

That's OK for a first cycle but maybe do a little more Primo. I would do 300 or 400 mg a week.

Happy to see that you are doing your first cycle. At 56 years old, it's important that you make sure you get blood work done. That is something that needs to be done, and Primo is a good option for someone in your situation.

Hopefully you can get good results from Primo, though at 200mg it is sort of a waste. I would be running it at least 400mg, but that's me.
