To the Creeper dungeon and start walking on the treadmill to a good jog. 35 minutes we hit target zone 125—135. Eat my spoon full of honey with some electrolytes. Then to the Yoga stretches. Loosened the back and legs. On to opening my chest up, as well as the Creeper stretches using 30lbs in hand, swirl the weight letting the shoulder fibers get stretched good. Slowing down and reverse the spin. Turn on some tunes and load the warm up sets.
Do my old school stretches talk myself into making the most of today.
• Leg Press
300 neutral stance today.
Paused reps. Smooth and controlled.
4×12, quads feeling fine. With neutral stance getting as deep as possible. Still using foam blocks keeping myself in check to keep knees loaded right. Great stretch. Controlled chaos coming out the hole. This is feeling good and controlled. keeping the knee straight by using my lifting belt as well. I am doing some isolation leg extensions to warm up. Focused on rhythmic movement and time under load. All sets to 12. Everything felt pretty good starting off. Last set is a test of will power, last 4 reps is a good pause and breathing.
• Cable Crunches
Staying at 150lbs. Spine arched, hips pulling through.
Controlled and systemic.
And doing 6 sets. I ran this up to 15. I take a solid 60 seconds to recover after set 3. I am still shaking hard by set 4 that the wall is starting, before it was the end of set 3, no think zone! The rest time in between sets is the only way to get this much done. This gets the blood flowing good. Heart rate up 130-145. Hot already, rolling sweat. And its a perfect 62 degrees.
• Romanian Deadlifts x 5
130lbs, Belt tight. Hamstrings drawn tight. Close to the shins, keeping head up.
10 on set one, backed down on reps after 3 going to 10 and 10. Then 8 and 7 Being methodically. Staying even with the book
• Calf Raises
140 lbs On a 2‑inch platform, heels hanging deep.
Stretch, squeeze up, repeat. 5 sets done at 10 reps.
Do note this is on the Smith Machine.
• Hanging Leg Raises x 4, grips on.
Weighted sets with 10 lbs on the feet.
Strict, no sway. Keep the work honest 10 reps with a rest of 30 seconds. I was lighting up in the abs. Did 8 reps, 2 more sets. We are staying even.
• Smith Machine Squats x 4
300 lbs, wide stance, tempo steady.
10 reps then 9, 7 for sets 3 & 4. Nice and smooth. Form feels good with the toes slightly out. Kept even with reps.
• Hack squat x 3
started this off light as the finish touch. 170, 3 sets neutral stance, toes pushed down and straight 15,14,13 quads lighting up! Foam box is still being used. I am standing a bit higher than mid plate. We added 3 reps. I know we can add more just a bit redundant. And still need to walk a lot later.
* Extra set Leg Curls
4 sets at 35lb. 12×4
* Extra set pull up's
Did 5 X 3 with the 25lbs on the belt, I like to give a bit of relax hanging at the bottom at the end of a set just to unload the spine and stretching everything deeply. Got a pretty good pop.... click click like down the spine, on a deep exhale on the first rep. Felt really good. I look forward to the decompression. Thinking I will try 50 lbs on the belt and just do some hanging stretching to start this next time. Hell, might grow like Sommerfeld did.

Time to eat!

• Notes of the Day
I was struggling after my ride into the shop. Getting out of the car was ridiculous. You're brain telling the legs to move and its a response of. You know... piss off bruh. Give me a minute. Rain clouds are looming around. Hopefully the rain keeps going. So the day was busy as normal, lots of walking and really I think its for the better as I don't feel as sore the next if you don't move as much. 14k in steps.

TEAM USP Bodybuilding News

08/30/2026
• Today’s Core Story
The 2026 Mr. Olympia (September 24–27, Las Vegas) is now officially three weeks out, and the last 24 hours have been dominated by administrative rule shifts, elite physique reveals, and final roster confirmations in the Men’s Open and Bikini divisions—plus a surging amateur pipeline at the NPC North American Championships in Pittsburgh.

Major News – 2027 Olympia Qualification Rules (Bikini)
• Points Cut:
The current 2026 system qualifies the Top 25 athletes in Bikini points standings. Starting in 2027, that ladder is slashed to the Top 20, tightening the gate on non–show winners.
• Protected Exceptions:
Tier-1 wins and elite placings remain the golden ticket: Olympia top-3, Arnold Classic, Pittsburgh Pro, and other major titles will still lock automatic entries, keeping the division heavily winner-driven.
• Men’s Open – Physique Updates & Roster Reality
• Derek Lunsford – The Reigning Target:
Shoulder footage shows grainier density and widening back detail, with glute–hamstring lines tracking to match or beat his 2025 winning form. It's not enough this year Derek....
• Samson Dauda – “Freaky” Balance Threat:
Three-weeks-out mandatory pose leaks reveal his most balanced look yet, vacuumed midsection perfectly synced with overwhelming limb size. Samir Bannout is on record: if upper-body detail matches his legs, Dauda wins the Sandow. ( I can't disagree )
• Nick Walker – Mutant Momentum:
Rest-pause shoulder protocols are driving capstone fullness with stage-lean conditioning already in place. Coming off Tampa Pro and Arnold Classic wins, top coaches are openly calling Walker the primary threat to the current order.
• The Missing Giants:
Rubiel “Neckzilla” Mosquera (2027 recovery focus post-hernia) and Good Vito are now officially absent from the 24-man Open lineup, removing two major freak-factor variables from this year’s stage.
• Bikini Division – Final Field & Pipeline
• Roster Locked:
The 2026 Bikini Olympia field is now fully set following the Gold’s Gym Classic Pro in Raleigh, where Jordan Brannon grabbed the final gold and rolled straight into a three-week peak phase.
• Phoebe Hagen & Top Tier Conditioning:
Indicators show Hagen and the front-runner pack driving deep caloric deficits. The modern Bikini standard is clearly favoring slightly more muscular, sharply etched hamstring–glute tie-ins forcing athletes to walk a tightrope between “Olympia-ready” and “too hard” for the division line.
• Amateur Pipeline – NPC North American Championships:
Day-one prejudging in Pittsburgh is showcasing stacked Bikini amateur classes, with IFBB Pro cards expected to drop over the next 48 hours for overall winners feeding directly into the 2027 pro landscape.
• Cross-Division Olympia Buzz
• Samson Dauda – Hype vs. Reality:
Phil Heath publicly cooled the social media hype but admitted that if Dauda nails shredded conditioning at his current size, he becomes nearly unbeatable. Bannout doubled down on that assessment, tying the win directly to upper-body detail.
• Nick Walker – Front-Runner Calls:
With a key rival out, Chris Cormier and other elite coaches are now on-record predicting a Walker victory if he brings the same sharp midsection and conditioning seen in his latest updates.
• Derek Lunsford – Dynasty Question:
As the 2025 Mr. Olympia champion, Lunsford’s entire prep narrative is framed around defending against a volatile 24-man lineup while chasing a multi-year dynasty run.
• Ryan Terry – Men’s Physique “GOAT” Talk:
Terry has openly framed the 2026 Olympia as a “dogfight” with Kyron Holden, positioning this year as a legacy-defining showdown in Men’s Physique.
• Wesley Vissers – Classic Physique Precision:
Vissers has unveiled a zero-pressing shoulder routine designed to refine proportions and keep his Classic silhouette razor-clean for the Olympia stage.
• Live Show & Event Pulse
• NPC North American Championships (Pittsburgh, PA):
Day-one photos and judging packages are live, confirming the event’s status as a major pro-qualifier for US, Canadian, and Mexican amateurs chasing IFBB Pro cards.
• WFP Grand Park Pro – Functional Fitness Shockwave:
Official results crown James Sprague and Emma Tall as division leaders, while Patrick Vellner’s retirement following injury adds a heavy emotional note to the weekend’s competitive narrative.
• Olympia Week Infrastructure:
Palms Casino Resort is locked as the official host hotel, with finals set for the Orleans Arena and expo/prejudging at the Las Vegas Convention Center—cementing a full-city takeover vibe for Olympia Week.

Team USP—(Creeper’s Thoughts)
The board is set: Men’s Open is now a three-man psychological war (Lunsford–Dauda–Walker), Bikini just had its future tightened by a ruthless points cut. Can't help but think this is because of the expansion of the fitness division. The NPC North Americans are quietly deciding who even gets to dream about this stage in 2027.
