Another long day at work. This getting used to the gym after work every day thing is tough. AND we had to do my least favorite movement today…. 😭

Snatches are not my movement. I scaled the WOD to 55lbs and finished the workout in 14:29. Almost ripped on the toes to bar but thank goodness I didn’t. Super happy with my toes to bar at least lol! Happy hump day everyone!

long holiday break is over! The gym was closed for a minute and I took the time to just chill and be with family out camping :). I was happy to get back to it though.

I went in early today and I did:
4x3 3strict press 3 push press
Built weight up to 85lbs
3x10 suitcase split squat 40lbs
3x15 banded beat swings
5x3 chest to bar pull ups
A little hand stand walking till class started

The WOD:

Good workout back, actually not too killer. I did 10ghd and 6 v up and my total box jumps for the workout was 59. I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. It’s great to be back!

Nice WOD on 9-2 doing snatches even when you didn't love them. Making great progress either way!

Wow feeling a bit crusty today at the gym lol. I went in early and I hit:
5x3 3sec tempo front squat built to 115lbs
3x4 weighted pull ups 15lb
Muscle up practice
Hand stand walk practice

Hit the wod after:

The last time I did the push press I did 105lbs and this time I hit 110! Yay! Then did the 5k row and we finished in 20:12. Overall just an okay day, I just feel slow getting back into the swing of things maybe? 🤷‍♀️
