Leg training change up

I'm looking to change up the way I train my legs. I'm not getting the type of growth that I was hoping for
I looked up some different leg exercises that are supposed to be good at building strong hamstrings and quadriceps
they are split squats, goblet squat, barbell squat, reverse lung, and Romanian deadlift
do you recommend I do five sets of each on my next leg day or should I do three sets and then add in some more lunges and squats on top of that to failure?
and should I go heavy or should I go more lightweight and high repetition?
 
i like to start my leg day with lunges and squats and rotate them

dont' forget your lower legs too. those have muscles and a lot of people forget that
 
go heavy on legs for 5 sets then go light to bring them to failure

i only do squats for legs do more squats higher weights

I would keep changin it up and confusing the body
