Esters are something people like to follow like the bible. Truth is, they give us a general idea when to dose but there are other factors as well. Take long esters for example, if you pin them ED or EOD, you actually reduce aromatization vs dosing once per week. This is a common reason why people have trouble dialing in estrogen on TRT. They dose once per week and think they need an AI. Really though, the body produces testosterone every day so a proper TRT protocol should try to replicate that as closely as possible.
