breakfast options on the go

We all agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and without it our metabolism will not be able to rev up, but What are the best breakfast options for someone on the go? I usually stop in to mcdonalds and grab some hotcakes or a McMuffin or something, I really don't have time to cook since I have a long commute.
 
I would go with an meal replacement shake like 2 scoops of whey some caseinate and peanut butter.
 
no we don't all agree breakfast is the most important meal of the day. it actually isn't. americans are one of the few places in the world that push the breakfast thing and look where its gotten us. a huge breakfast is a great way to get fat, you spike insulin first thing in the morning and it will be elevated all day and you will keep storing fat nonstop.
 
It is 11:30am where I am right now and I have not had my first meal yet. I try to eat in a window from 12pm-8pm and that helps me stay lean. What you want to do is meal prep one day on the weekend so you have good quality food ready for the entire week. Then you have no excuse not to eat a proper meal.
 
Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day. It's all where your macros end up at the end of the day
 
50% of the time i don’t even eat breakfast. mcdonald’s? i mean come on. if you really have to get the egg mcmuffin no cheese no butter.
just the egg and the dry english muffin.
but hot cakes? i’m assuming pancakes? absolutely uncalled for ..
