best pulling exercises

Would like to do some pulling exercises during my split. I would like some new ideas that can help me get to where I want to go. What would you recommend that I do? I know that pull downs are an option and so are rows. What do you think about doing pull ups? Are those going to be good as well? My back is my weak point.
 
i'm a fan of using pulling exercises with a rest day after push day. don't hit them back to back. that is a great way to get injured
 
I think rows are going to be the most effective. They really work great. Really works the back really well.
