Basicstero.ws Scam Review

He’s not saying you can’t trust your source. He’s saying that when you’re a mod and you tell people the only source to trust is (insert source), it comes across like you don’t trust the others. Whether you mean it that way or not, it sounds biased. Everyone understands you have your go-to sources and that’s normal. But as a mod, the expectation is to be more neutral and diplomatic. like “I personally use source X, but all of our verified sources are solid. As long as you stick to those, you’ll get quality gear.” That keeps things balanced. I can see where Steroidify is coming from. When a mod says “only use source X,” a lot of people will take that as gospel. That can unintentionally hurt other verified and trusted sources on the list.

I guess I'm just used to it being a requirement that mods on forums are neutral and unbiased, typically the roll of a mod is to be a like a referee that stays neutral doesn't steer conversations and enforces rules, I guess here mods are the more senior members or top contributors that also enforce the rules. The downside to it being that way is the perception that you are being dismissive of some sources while actively promoting other sources even if the intent is that you are just saying x is my preferred source, especially to newer less experienced members it can come off like you are saying the other sources can't be trusted and then you end up with a situation like you had on this thread where you have a trusted approved source that is offended because they sell the brand some was asking about and you are saying a different source is the only one to trust to get that brand. I'm not trying to argue or start shit I'm just pointing out how it comes off, but it's not my forum and it's not my rules and if the admins don't have any expectation that mods are to be neutral then it is what it is.

I stay as active as I can, but I’ve got a pretty demanding family life. I have three kids—two teenage daughters who just started driving, and a 7-year-old son who trains Jiu-Jitsu four days a week and competes in tournaments more often than you’d expect. On top of that, my elderly mother-in-law recently moved in with us after her husband passed, since she can’t fully care for herself. I work 50–60 hours a week, make it to all my son’s practices and tournaments, take my daughters out driving so they can log their hours, keep up with maintaining our vehicles, and help get everyone to doctor’s appointments. My wife and I also cook dinner together every night so it doesn’t become a chore that falls on just one of us. I still make time for the gym at least four days a week for 1–1.5 hours per session, plus 30–40 minutes of cardio every day. That’s why I’m only on here a couple times a week and sometimes I might not check in for a few weeks at a time. If I were a mod, it would be in title only, because I don’t feel I’d have the time to properly handle the responsibilities that come with it.
