Arm workout plan

Newbie
I'm looking to isolate my arm workout split
right now I'm going to do five sets of:
cable triceps push down, single arm dumbbell overhead triceps extensions, and Skull Crushers
I then am going to do six sets of cable bicep curl, dumbbell preacher, and barbell bicep curl to finish things off going high repetitions
do you think this is a good workout for the arms or am I overtraining them?
 
I would do one or two movements for each muscle group. Inclined dumbell curls with strict form will stress the bicep well. Dips are a multi joint movement that are excellent for triceps. You can add a dip belt and more weight as you progress. Aim for 2 - 3 sets in the 8 - 10 rep range for muscle size. Remember there is a difference between overtraining and overuse. Overtraining is far less common than overuse.

remember your biceps are two muscles

your triceps are a group of 3 muscles

hence the names

it is not necessary to train them all in 1 split, they get worked out already a lot. you could just focus on some drop sets

I would concentration on barbell curls for arms if you ask me
 
barbells and more isolated movements
