Switching from Crossfit to weight training back and forth

Has anyone in here ever done CrossFit for a couple months then switch back to the gym for a couple months and then back to CrossFit and vice versa.
I have been doing this lately and have noticed that it really has been a boon to my fitness overall. I have the best endurance and the best conditioning I've ever had in my life
 
bro crossfit for poosies ha, but serious i went to crossfit one time lotta hot chicks, banged the instructor while husband inside doing hoola hoops, felt guilty
 
I got a shoulder injury doing crossfit no good.
 
I am a big supporter of different types of training and switching it up frequently. Also, you should do what you enjoy and you are more likely to stick with it.
