GH issue @3IU

PhoenixGearVet

V.I.P.
Logger
I’ve been running 2IU for about 50 days. 1IU before fasted AM cardio and 1IU after late afternoon weight training. Couple days ago I went to 2IU before fasted AM cardio and 1IU after late afternoon weight training. Last night and the night before about 2hrs after that 1IU my resting heart rate goes up to 100 and I can feel palpitations, BP increased and body temp went up - all signs of a sudden, large increase of T3. Just had a load of lab tests done and my T3 was already 3.5 with the upper lab range being 4.2. That 1IU may be pushing me over that 4.2.

My lab test for IGF was 172. I want my IGF at 250, but obviously can’t do so if my T3 is going up so high it’s creating cardiac strain. I’m curious if anyone has heard of such a thing before with low dose GH use? I know a lot of guys on 3IU with zero issues.

@PhoenixGearVet well in situations like this brother this is why we need you to update your log
we dont know what you been eating or how you been training at all

imo, you pushed the dose too quick without letting the body settle, and your labs already showed T3 at the top end. GH can indirectly drive thyroid conversion, so bumping it higher just exaggerated that effect. The palps, temp rise, and BP are warning signs your system’s being pushed too far. Back the dose down, let things stabilize, and retest before chasing IGF numbers. Also update your food, training, and lifestyle log so it’s easier to see the whole picture instead of guessing off one marker, like why you here if you dont share with our family to help you? :) we willing and able

i mean maybe you are retaining water and that is causing the heart strain. or maybe you have some sort of reaction to the hgh

I don’t have a large group to get anecdotal input from. Something odd comes up and I can test the experience of the masses. I also didn’t realize my log would have had guidance and input included in replies. I’ve been on GH for 60 days with the last 40 being 2IU. Going up an IU and topping out at 3IU didn’t seem significant. I’m going to hit the carbs hard on my post weight training feed. That should up my IGF and leave my T3 alone. I ate a few beta blockers and the HR and BP have relaxed.

@PhoenixGearVet at the end of the day, you need to listen to your body. It could be maybe just you're dealing with the flu or something, but it could be something else.

Not sure everyone’s opinion on running things through ChatGPT. I’ve been pretty impressed with it taking the whole picture of diet, training, labs, supplements and PEDS providing an analysis of outcomes, contradictions, improvements, and forecasting. Regarding this GH question, it has suggested that fluid shifts can cause higher resting HR, palpitations and elevated BP. I’m absolutely folding fluid. I’m down 10lbs from my profile pic. In the AM abs are much clearer opposed to bedtime where they’re totally blurred. Then there’s the getting up and pissing 3 times a night. My estrogen is 50. Had labs drawn the day after 24hr after pinning 150mg test C. Total test and estrogen skewed high. Diet I don’t add salt, but damn that cottage cheese I eat pretty often has a gram of sodium in a cup of it. The GH doesnt have a brand. It’s from a source I’ve used since 2019. I’m back to 2IU split and feel fine and will be staying here. I still have 5 kits so happy to have 250 days of GH on hand in the fridge. My goal was to get my IGF into the 200’s. I need to have a larger carb feed with my protein after my PM post weight training 1IU shot and see how that changes with October labs.
