I need to get me one. My gym doesn't have one. Any suggestions or preferences? Nylon or leather? I've only used the leather ones before and they kinda cut into my waist when I start putting a little extra weight on it.

how bout this... I have yet to do it but I gave this some thought... a chain with a "S" hook on either end. "S" hook pinched down at one end to keep on the chain the other end left open to hook onto your own belt. OR use some of those cheap carabiners instead of "S" hooks.
This would save you bout $40-60 and would work the same |

I have a nylon , folds better in the gym bag and works just fine. I believe its cheaper in price too. staff at some gyms will not allow loose chains in the gym.
