Hey guys what do you think of these for pre-workout? Was thinking of adding these to my pre-workout drink which already contains caffiene, arginine and taurine.
The reasons for adding both would be; baking soda=lactic acid buffer, glucose=stimulates the release of anabolic insulin, simple sugar which provides quick energy boost. I realise that insulin will have a fat sparing effect as I would be burning carbs instead of FFAs for energy, so I want you to answer this with ultimate intensity and bulking in mind. I would be interested to hear from someone who may have tried the combination or has a general opinion. |
