Without any "hormones", I have a few OTC supplements that have worked well for me.
1. "the stack" by Pro-Rx 2. Volu-gro by Nutrex research 3. Recovery by Powerlab nutrition Those are some basic supplements that work well for promoting muscle growth, strength and recovery. I have used them all and can tell you they worked for me, if you take them you will have a good "stack" of supplements to assist with pre and post workout needs. Other then that maybe some good BCAA, multivitamin/mineral, and a good proper diet to give you the protein/carbs/fats you need. Unless you wana add a pro-hormone or a gainer to help with calories, the above products are really all you need and will give you some good results if your doing everything else right. Good luck and let us know how it goes for you! |

Your hormones would be off the charts at 18. There is IMO, no need whatsoever for any supplementation beyond a good multi-vit, heaps of protein in the form of real food and maybe some creatine.
Don't waste your money on elaborate supps. Spend it on steak and chicken. Will get better results any day. |

first of all i knew this would happen, i eat a shit ton everyday trust me around 4,000 cals and 200-300 grams of protein, protein shakes up the ass, oats, chicken, you name im sure ive ate. ive been thru about 8-10 tubs of creatine since ive started working out. ive been thru about 5 fat burners. Ive been thru 4-5 animal paks. Ive been taking the basics for quite sometime.
I WAS LOOKING FOR SUPPS THAT SOME OF THE MEMBERS HAVE HAD SUCCESS IN AIDING THEM FOR MASS GAINS. TY |

Like I said bro the ones that I listed above worked good for me and a few others I know. If you go to YouTube and look around, Marcus Ruhl actually takes the Volu-gro on a daily basis, "the stack" is backed with 100% money back guarantee (how many supp companies do that), and the recovery has great feed back if you look around.
I have been in the game for many years and believe me I don't waste money on junk, if I take something, it works! Give them a try and you will like them! P.S. If you get "the stack" let me know and I will tell you the best way to take it, after playing around a bit and using some common sense I found there's a better way then what each bottle label recommends. |

I do agree with Big Will, don't get me wrong for a minute. There's nothing that compares to years of proper diet and the correct training, its the only way to add "real" muscle that will last. That in my opinion is why so many people put on 20+ pounds using whatever and lose it all when off, because its not solid gains. Look at some "old school" guys that haven't touched a weight in years, yet they haven't lost much size at all, that's because its "real muscle", solid muscle that took years of real work!
I also do agree with the fact that most supplements these days are complete BS, nothing more then five page Ad's and over priced junk. With that said, there are some supplements that do work and actually offer what they say, as long as you do things correctly. I my self am one of the most sceptical people there is when it comes to buying OTC shit, it takes a lot of good findings and solid research to even think about it and if I buy something a second time, its only because it works 100%! As said before by others, most of the time you will stand a better chance spending you time and money on real food rather then supplements, but if your already where you need to be in that department and have put in good amount of time there, I see no reason why you shouldn't get a few things to help you along the way. I wouldn't go wasting money on all the "fancy" shit or just about anything you find in the magazine's these days, but some things do work and the ones I mentioned are a few that do. Just stick to the basic things and stay away from all the overly hyped junk, as with most things in this game its the simple things that work best. |
