Default Supplements that actually work?

I think it would be interesting to get more user feedback on the latest supplements on the market. What really does work and what doesnt. I myself have spent hundreds of dollars on pure crap with good advertising.
Through all the BS I've consumed, I can honestly say that anything from Gaspari Nutrition WORKS and I'm not a Gaspari rep. Anybody else have info on something you absolutely wouldnt train without?

Anything? Look at their "Starter Kit": "A product so powerful, users will see and feel increase in muscle belly size and fiber strength within 24-36 hours after your first dose!"

What a joke!

I've had good results from Cytolean, Superpump 250, Halodrol and Novadex. Different body chemistrys react in different ways but like I said, anything that I have personally tried works.

Any company that insinuates that their product will provide insane, sickening pumps or incredible gains in mass is lying. Sorry, but NO supplement is ever going to come close to the gains that gear provides.

I will say this, gronkboy is absolutely correct, but you still need certain things. I always take creatine, lots of glutamine, and i like NO, the plasmajet is the best imo, it really gives you a great pump, at times my skin get so tight it feels like it could ripp i love it.

I agree. Nothing is like the real thing. BUT I believe some come closer than others. These guys spends thousands on extravagant advertising to lure us with larger than life expectations. Most BB supplements are total BS. I do think some products are good, some better than others. Thats what I'd like to find...more products that do work. The dosages usually have to be adjusted, usually doubled, for different body weights. Most are based on the average 150-180lb guy.

I also agree that the only specific supplements that work are creatine, glutamine, and NO. Food DOES beat a protein shake hands down, but I still use it to get a few extra grams of protein for a busy life. I actually get my glutamine and protein (whey w/ glutamine in it) at Wal-Mart. Both are not bad!!

I've been trying superpump for the last month and I don't like it nealy as much as mri's Black Powder. Those are the only 2 that I have tried. My 2 cents.

Save your money on the glutamine, its been proven to be worthless for muscle gain and recovery.

Fast acting protein and waximaize after your workouts make a big difference. This meal is the most important one of the day IMO.

What study is that Will? It has been given to cancer patients for years to prevent muscle wasting.
