new ephedra supplement...and a new law?

anybody tried this stuff, Viridis Labs - Ephedra 5.
Claims to be the only legal ephedra supplement in the US.

The megapro-vasopro ephedrine is getting harder to get, bb.com stopped selling it and some other sites now require you to fax a copy of your licence and fill out a government form in order to purchace it. Some new law I guess - started a couple weeks ago.

I'm gonna try a nutrition store near me tommorrow to see if they still stock vasopro if not I might have to pick up this vidris stuff or go thru the hassle of faxing my info and filling out the form. damn government.

Not sure if its the only one. I know not many supp guys are carrying ephedra though so might be.

Try ephedrine hcl never banned and IMO better.

I never liked vasopro, has too many other ingredients in it that counteract the fat burning.

i dont understand that as i've seen other ephedra supplements for sale on atleast a few different sites. im not too familiar with what crosses forum rules, so if this gets deleted i apologize, but google supplement warehouse dot com and i bought some ephedrine in there without proof of id needed. none the less its just getting more and more expensive anywhere u go. i remember like 3 yrs ago driving around the corner to the gas station and getting 60 tabs for $7, now im buying 24 tabs for $15. ephedrine/caffeine still works its magic for me though, i'd highly assume its a better road to take than that vidris stuff.

8mg tabs can be sold legally almost anywhere. I dont think 25's are, they are not in Canada for sure. But 8's are EZ to find. But that is not ephedra. Ephedra was banned in US (not canada) but is legal again.

Just not sure what labs carry it.

those are 8mg tabs. I have never seen 25mg tabs for a long time, but I think 3 8mg are better anyways lets you control the dose. I get mine from popeyes supp (supplementscanada.com)

Dude I never said it was banned - I said it was getting harder to get and that some sites have stopped carrying it and others claim that there is a new law requiring you to fill out a government form and fax your id to them...

some sites still carry it obviously.

Also, I found some who don't require the government form for the 25mg HCL, I used supplement direct but like theissue said Supplement Warehouse is another one.
Its weird that there would be such conflicting info on otherwise similar sites about new laws in effect.

On a side note I tried a new stack...one 25 mg ephedrine HCL and one old school Stacker2 with 25mg ephedra and 250 caffiene that was saved over from the original ban. Worked F'ing awesome! felt strong as an ox with energy to burn. I've tried 50mg of HCL before but this was a better stack imo. Wouldn't reccomend it though b/c its a good way to down regulate your receptors and prob not healthy lol. But for a 'once-in-a-while' kick in the ass it was fun.

Funny how even in Canada GNC will tell you its banned...lol...love it. On some other canadian site earlier we were talking about it. GNC still lies like mad to its customers. Just nuts.

As far as the FDA is concerned Ephedra is banned. Ephedrine is still legal but not marketed or sold as supplements.

Some retailers are still selling ephedra but it is actually illegal(refering to US not sure about other countries) They just havent started cracking down on them very hard yet I guess

The FDA was forced to "un-ban" it last year when it was revealed they had used frauduant (sp?) studies to ban it. Most supp guys are waiting it out before selling it. But its no longer banned.

MD had some info on the lies the FDA used to push their agenda through. Interesting read. I have no idea why the FDA has wanted to ban all supps for as long as its been around. Well money issue obviosuly - but there must be more to it.

EPhedra was banned in Canada too, but is now legal again as well - but hard to find. HCL is sold everywhere and I actually prefer it anyway.

It was overturned for a brief period of time but then banned again.

This is Aug 17th 2006 by the way. This is after the FDA's intial ruling was overturned and then reaffirmed later on. Technically Ephedra is illegal according to the FDA

hell walmart has the primaten or however you spell it 12.5mg ephed. and 60 caps. for around $9. It's behind the counter with the psuedo, ask the RPH.

Thats where I get mine, alone with caffiene and low dose asprin. Just grab the card from where all the cold meds are and bring it to the pharm counter. Rite Aide also sells Bronkaide 25mg tabs in 24 count and sometimes 60 count for $5. Although I know not all states have the same laws.
