I'm currently starting the 5th week of my Prop/Tren A cycle.Everything is going pretty good.Starting weight was 222ish....now hitting 245,and have lost some fat along the way.Calories are 4500-4800 per day.Strength gains are beginning to come fast and furious and pumps are INSANE!
My question is....I'd like to add in Arimidex at 1mg eod to reduce bloat....not getting a lot but some. Will the adex slow or hinder my gains?Sems to be different opinions on this I'll be running the prop at 150mg for another 6-8 weeks and the tren a at 100 mg eod for another 4-6 weeks.Finishing the final 4 week of the cycle with winny at 50 mg/day. |

Blood pressure is great,no signs of gyno whatsoever.
First 3 weeks I ran prop @ 100mg eod and tren @ 75mg eod.Decided to bump it up after 21 days. Having night sweats, feel a slight bit run down?? heard this is common with tren,a bit of shortness of breath also hard this is common with tren. Other than that ,sex drive is crazy and all seems good. I have ordered the adex and should have it tomorrow. I would like to keep the bloat to a minimum, and it doesnt seem to be all that bad .....maybe not bother?? Appreciate any advice ![]() |

If you're not getting gyno and your BP is fine, then there is no real reason for it unless the bloat is really getting to you. A bit of bloat is anabolic, estrogen is protecting your blood lipids, storing more glycogen in muscles, increasing sensitivity to IGF-1, upregulating the androgen receptor etc etc so taking arimidex will likely slow your gains a little. On the flip side, you'll get less nut shrinkage if you do run the rimi. If it's only a little bloat, you could probably deal with it by restricting your sodium intake... |

So it's basically 6 of one...half a dozen of the other kind of thing
Really there isn't alot of bloating....no moon face or anything....more that I "feel" bloated. Christ that sounds like a woman while pms'in huh lol Might be a bit of not being used to taking in 5000 cal / day hence the "feel" ? |

well you might want to reconsider... arimi plays hell with your HDLs...so do some things to help that level out if you do use arimi... and also you might get away with .25 or .5 mgs eod instead... and that could also have less of an impact on your HDL at the lower dosage... many people are good with .25 or .5 eod and on higher levels of hormones than your stated dosages... just my thoughts.... i would prefer the bloat a little over lower hdls... congrats on the big time gains...

Arimidex will do its job and keep the water off, but not without some disadvantages...as para said, some estrogen is good....I personally think arimidex is the best AI you can use...

![]() 5000 cals a day can definately make you feel bloated if you're not used to it, esp if you are using a lot of protein powders and/or dairy products. |
