I have good tri's, and work them after chest training. Only problem is that they don't seem to hang enough when view from the front as in a front double bi pose. I generally rotate two or three exercises like skullcrushers, pushdown, dip machine, rope pushdowns and occasionally dbell kickbacks. Generally 3 sets at 8-10 reps per set.
I must admit that since my tri's have always been pretty good, I look at tricep training as an adjunct to keeping my bench weights up. Any exercise suggestions or variations to bring out that hanging inner head?? |

The hanging part is actually the long head I find extension type movements especially overhead with B.B.s or D.B.s to be very effective. Also try some reverse grip pushdowns. Before anyone gets their panties in a bunch I know you can't completly isolate any one part of a muscle; however certain movements emphasize different parts of the muscle better.......

I would agree. I find that overhead movements where I get a stretch tend to activate the long head the best.

The boys are right try, either the one handed overhead dumbell press and the Doublehanded overhead dumbell press. Also try and change your grips I find that once in a while alternating helps with targeting differents areas of the tricep. Simple and it works...IMO
