Oh its amazing how many survive these kinds of horrific accidents. A couple I have read of were not even aware of what happened. One had a bullet lodged in the brain for some 30 years or something. Another had a knife in the head. Yet another I saw on TV similarly a builder fell from a ladder onto a big tool which was lodged inside his head and wasn't aware of it at first.
