Including hgh and growth factors etc, I had a body at the moment that looks like a pile of shit and I want go beyond my former glory. Any one thats been, please share your experiences and if you are in thailand and own a gym or work in one please provide me with any and all information you can provide. I will start you on your way...

You got one of the popular ones Patong Beach at Phuket. Patong gym is good and has around 60KG dumbells from memory. Train there before the late afternoon to miss the busy time unless you are looking at making a mate to train with. I do not mind the gym just head down and train. Late afternoon it gets busy and you get a few show pony's that are then to flex and take up room. Not saying im a god I just am there to train but some just love to flex and chat. Anyway off topic lol

Price is cheap to train there but off the top of my head I cant tell you. Further along the same road there is a two story gym with training upstairs. ITs a very simple gym and more cheap but depending on your skill level you can strugle to get weights to go high enough. I trained there a few times and its ok you can get by but more if on a budget.

Food is every where to eat but catch is everything is fried or high carb's. When I was living there I just bought a small gass cooker for my varanda and cooked my chicken breast myself. I still ate out veg' and chicken and so on but did some lean meals myself. Chicken , pork raw at market $3 to $4 a kg.
I took chicken breast to regular rest' I ate and asked can I pay you to cook this. They did and thought we all new grilled and it came back deep fried and battered lol

It took 3 days to teach one place to boil me 6 eggs at a time. They got it right and then cook took few days off and hand teach new cook lol I love the place but takes time to get in your groove there.

I never hung or lived at pattaya but from mates they say it is cheap housing and food and training so its a options. I have a mate doing 4 months there now so I will see what he says for my next run.

Bangkok is great place once you deal with its size and lack of english but that goes for most places. Do ya self a favour, if you are going to train eat and apart from that sit on ya ass and grow instead of getting a tourist 3 month visa get a 1 year student visa. $1000 Au buys you a visa and 200 hours of thai lessons in a school. You choose the days and hours. If you want fit in learn the lingo you will thanks yourself for doing it. So many doors open and you will get more respect for giving a f**k to learn their language.

Bangkok has a park gym that is well not really that good but you could use it. There are also fitness first gyms there but as everywhere they are western priced. Once you stay in thai long time you get use to thai price and you become a tight ass lol

As for sup's rules are about here we don't talk about that plus hey we don't want everyone coming over here lol When you arrive if you have issues finding somethings send me a message I will point you right if I can.

There is one key down fall to training in thai and that is the ever so beautifull women. Them and the cheap booze and million bars break many a training plan lol

ANyway that is some info to get you started, Just remember its there country and learn to go with the flow and learn some thai. Don't expect things to run like western countries as it never does.

    Good luck

i would never have a desire to do what the original poster has done, but for people that go over there to train, what do you do all day when you finished your workout? just wander the streets aimlessly?

if you cant drink or do the normal tourist things, once you train and eat some meals your going to be bored shitless arent you?

I for one have spent a lot of time over there but like 99% of the world I have to work. So I work like every other person there and train and so on as I would in Oz just with a few extra benefits there but a few downs as well like finding food easy how you want it. I do laugh as some people come over and take a big break there and thinks its great but so is oz if you were there on a big break not working. No matter where you are if you have too work it all becomes the same lol
Mind you I do enjoy looking at the tallent walking along the street in Asia so that is a bonus

I have met a fair few guys working the mines and similar over there. They have settled in there and do month on month off as its cheap to fly to WA. Most have hooked up with a misses over there. There month off they train and go about the place I guess the same as if they had month off in oz you would sit about and find something to do.

One mans drink is another mans poison, I like doing extended trips there with work and pleasure but I still like my extended time back in oz as well. Best of both worlds I guess

Thanx for the one person that provided me with at least some answers.. and to the critics.. I am not going to whinge .. everyone has problems and issues but if you put my shoes on for 1 minute you would run away. Alchemy,, you are correct... I do need a complete overhaul but I verymuch doubt that you are aware of my situation ,I dont care about what is important in life anymore.. I never asked for this f$cking life, I just want to do whatever that brings me some happiness at my age its far too late.(especially for a mental overhaul). and yes i prolly have asked this question a million times before but you know what.. I dont remember it.. I have more issues on my plate than anyone of you can comprehend. If i had a gun i'd blow my head away.In life you can only play the hand you are dealt). The deck of cards i was dealt from was rigged. I'd rather be in somalia , starving for food and drinking shit water than be where i am. Prolly should start a counselling forum.Enough said. Respects to you alchemy. I dont think you'd remember but once upon a time you helped me out. now I'm ouT.

I'm really not sure that what you wish to embark on in your OP is going to benefit you over the long term. Certainly a good escape, get your mind off things, much like a good holiday. But given your follow up post, you do realise you have far more serious concerns than going to Thailand in the hope that a couple of months of hard training and heavy hormone use is going to solve your problems? And how that is going to make you happier when you have to return to Oz (assuming you will) and be back in the same situation again? Certainly by all means go, it will likely do you good. But be prepared that you have a much longer life to live and if it is in your capacity to do so, then seek to address and mitigate some of the issues you have to help your situation and wellbeing longer term.

If you're not focused, commited and dedicated when at home. Thailand won't help much either. It's your mindset that needs fixing, not your oil. Fix your mind, and you body will follow.

You definitely need help , I would use the money that you are intending to spend on your trip to Thailand to seek professional medical help , to determine what psychological problems you have that are causing these depressive feelings.

Training in Thailand for a short period of time will only mask your depressive symptoms , get treatment immediately before anything else.

I have worked and travelled / trained extensively in Thailand , and the only help I will provide to you is that Thailand will be extremely harmful to your well being at the present time.

Get help from a psychologist immediately

I know this is an assumption, and I am probably out of line making it, but I have seen enough friends fuck there lives over that I don't care. You sound like you are at the end of your rope bro, and my guess is you want away from a life you have fallen into. A clean start. When I hear guys I have known say stuff like this they are usually mixed up in drinking or drugging or partying and want to get back to how they were before, living healthy. Thailand is the absolute worst place to do that. You will go there for a new start and end up further in whatever hole you are in. Tell family, tell a friend, tell a dr... Don't carry the weight of the world alone, just knowing someone else gets it will help.

    Trapmedead,

I did a similar thing some years ago but for 4 months, it was one of the best times of my life. If your willing to try new things and embrace a different culture your experience definitely wont be a waste of time. I left Australia as I was enjoying a few recreational drugs a little too much and felt like I needed to remove myself from a bad situation so embarked on a 'get away' to Thailand. I based myself in Pattaya and decided I wanted to learn Muay Thai so got myself an apartment at the cost of about $400 a month and trained at Fairtex Pattaya resort. This Muay Thai gym houses some of the worlds best Muay Thai fighters in the world but is still really hospitable with total newbies like myself. I trained from 7am to 10 am in the morning every day and then from 12-1 I enrolled in Thai language classes, and learnt Thai massage from 1-2, then in the afternoon I did weight training. In between I met many foreign Muay Thai fighters that trained at the gym and we embarked on many adventures during the day. And you can take a week off every month as I did and did short trips to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam or other areas of Thailand. While on these trips I always went for a run in the morning and explored the new destinations by walking every where so you do keep up good cardio on these trips. I definitely in 4 months never wandered the streets aimlessly. On returning to Australia I started a PT business where I focused on outdoor training with boxing as a key element and also offered massages (non sexual) to my clients. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I wish you all the best with your endevour. If you need any more information feel free to PM me.
