Default So i took a big step yesterday!!!

im sure some of you remember the thread a number of months ago i had about the flack i got about the bumper sticker i had on my vehicle... i won the battle, but things still dident sit right with me... over the past 10 years at this job i have grown so sick of the liberalism and political bull shit i was forced to do something... yesterday i put in my two weeks notice to the supprise of everyone!!! sadly most men/women there at the prison are stuck there in that there is no where else in the area one can make 35-40k a year unless you go work in some dog hole of a coal mine... i have secured a job at a local grocery store as a meat cutter making 15.50 per hour and that will do for now in that i graduate this spring with my BSRN... to any younger members who might read this and are looking for your niche or a career dont choose law enforcement... its a thank less job that breeds lazzyness, apathy and can so change who you are inside... the feeling of peace, i have right now is overwhelming, i really feel like im being released from prison myself... lol so i guess in a couple weeks i'll go from feeding animals through a "tray slot", to feeding people from a shoping cart!!! i welcome the change

well im officially not a "pig", anymore lol... i cant even convey how much happier i am now you guys/gals... it makes me wish i had made the decision long ago to get out of LE... although, it has taken a little getting use to dealing with the general public again instead of law breakers and convict fellons lol... a funny side story for me... the other day i was stocking some meats in the beef case and i saw this errr, emmm man/girl/queer walk past me a few times etc trying to act unsuspicious... finally i asked him if i could help or get him anything... then in this "lispy, pathetic, girly voice", he says "maybe but im just so FULL OF MEAT", meaning from the holidays i guess hahaha... i guess ya'll would have had to been there to get the full effect lol... i guess neils got hit on by a queer

I'm sure a bodybuilder in a butcher outfit gets a lot of gay attention.

So what was the bumper sticker?

i suppose imight look a lil sexy in my butchers coat hahaha...
no i had a simple bumper sticker on my car with the old Russian Hammer and Scythe on it, and i said "dont blame me, i voted for McCain"... the job tried to suspend me without pay for refusal to remove it... i was owed a great favor from a lawyer who happens to be a friend and friend of the family and we basically walked those fuckers DOWN, and i got my back pay and an appology!!!!!! they thought i was just some hick, mindless big meat head but little did they know im not no "joke"!!! i know my rights, and know the law much better than they do or ever will... big dont allways mean DUMB

Congrats! Sometimes a change is needed - especially for those who hate going into work. It's always better to have a job you enjoy even if it pays a little less.
