Eat less and move more... it is that simple. Unless you want to get into something like dnp or high dose aas cycles the effects of otc diet pills is minuscule.

Well, if she wants a pill to make it all go away, then she is willing to take things by mouth.
Each meal should consist of a protein (lean), fiber, and a complex carb.
Of course, cardio also helps, A LOT - really depends on how bad SHE wants it.
I assume you want OTC stuff?
You can't go wrong with an ECAY combo.
E - Ephederine. You can still get Ephederine Sulphate OTC in the form of Primatine Tablets (right next to Primatine Mist, the OTC ashma inhaler at the drug store)
C - Caffine. Use a caffine tabet to control the dose more easily than just drinking coffee.
A - Asprin. Potentiates the E,C, and Y. Also lowers bp.
Y - Yohimbine HCL. I dunno where you can buy the HCL OTC (you can buy it online), but you can find Yohimbe powder (capsules) and look at the standardized HCL content on the label. It's somewhat effective with men, but VERY effective in women.
Womans starting doses-
E - 12.5mg (1/2 of a 25mg tablet)
C - 100mg (1/2 of a 200mg tablet)
A - 81mg (baby-asprine)
Y - 5mg (look at the lable to find how much yohimbine hcl is contained in the yohimbe bark... or just get some yohimbine hcl from supplementdirect.com)
-split it into 2 doses.
One with breakfast, and one either 8hrs later or 45mins pretraining.
(i.e. 7am & 3pm)
Do cardio on an empty stomach. Either first thing in the morning before breakfast, or after weighttraining.
Pretty simple.

True ,I remember from my days on the boards way back ,, The ECA Stack is still a good fat burner ,just that Ephedrine is harder to get now since people use it to make Meth & dumb azz kids take like 10 of them & have a heart attack ,you use to be able to but it anywhere,Im sure you can find it online...
If you want some Non-OTC/grey-area stuff:
You can add 40mcg of clen in the AM with 50mcg of t3.
You can also add 5-10mg nolvadex in the am as well, however if she's busty she may drop a cup-size. Arimidex is useless in non-menopausal women.
You can also add a small dose of DHEA. 25mg twice a day.
OH!.... and I forgot one very important thing. ---- DRINK IT WITH 100% GRAPEFRUIT JUICE!! I prefer to squeeze my own juice (4 grapefruit trees in the yard!), but OceanSpray makes a 100% grapefruit juice that's not bad. I don't care for the taste, but it's the effect on the half-lives/potency of the supplements I'm after.

I was going to agree with thedunhill....not to be a smart ass though. There is a guy at work who tells me about his new workout/weightless plan....every 2 to 3 weeks! He NEVER looses weight though. I ask him if he is still chasing the doughnut.... He just doesn't get it! I had to actually explain to him that, no matter how much you workout, you won't lose weight unti you eat better! Then I had to break it down for him...."Look, you can eat a double hamburger, lg fries & a shake, run an extra 2 miles & think you'll lose weight.....NO, you wont lose weight! You'd have to run an extra 20 miles to burn all that crap off!". Today, he's still eating garbage....and he's still FAT too.
My mom married someone who took 2x the recommended doseage of Metabolife. He had a stroke at the time. He filed suit and was awarded 600k. He is still overweight at over 300 lbs at maybe 5.5 ft tall. Yep, the answer sure is in a pill huh?

This is Anabolex, isn't it? Dont' we talk about performance-enhancing drugs here? Admonishing the dudes ol'lady for a lack of discipline (or more likely a lack of knowledge) isn't going to help her at all.
It's not like the average person knows that eating a carbohydrate within 4-6hrs of bedtime will increase fat storage... Or that they should never eat carbs and fats at the same time (or why)... Or that the body cannot store protein the way it stores fat and carbs, and that it needs a constant supply (of protein).

The average person doesn't know this... and usaully doesn't care. This is a results-based society and if everybody was as inquisitive as I am (we are)... guys like me would never have any clients.

Like others have said, I wouldn't bother with drugs to lose weight unless your wife is at an already low bf. Find a good diet and exercise regime and that should be enough. I just started reading The ultimate diet 2.0 by Lyle McDonald, I have been told by some very credible sources that this works quite well. Try googling it, it's available for free on the net. It's far from conventional but the results I've heard about are hard to argue with.
I think I still have Lyle's notes/emails from his first venture into Dan Duchaine's Bodyopus from back in '97. If I can find'em, I'll post'em.

Slin, for the BBr there is some value in the eca stack or even clen but that is cause the last couple pounds matter so much. For the average person they are almost useless. Check out the studies and then look at the adds... you'll see crap like "burned 20% more fat than the control group on a calorie restricted diet... but when you check the study you'll see something like the placebo group lost 6 lbs in 12 weeks and the "whateverdietpill" group lost 7.2 lbs... the diff in results are minimal and IMHO just not worth It for 99.999% of the public.

I agree with Insulin Shock. I have had good luck with the ECAY stack but you have to also do some cardio and calorie restriction. I also agree that some Nolvadex helps women burn that problem hip/thigh female distribution fat but it can mess up their menstrual cycles. 10mg daily is probably better than 20mg as far as side effects go.
Also, not to be a smartass, it's LOSE fat. Loose is the opposite of fat and looses and loosing are not words. It's loses and losing. Sorry. Pet peeve.

If your talking OTC, thermolean and t2 fat destroyer by Pro-RX are really good and C-4 by powerlab nutrition is the strongest OTC fat burner I have seen. Used them both while bulking and can tell you they are both great, infact im doing clen and T3 now and think I may have seen more fat loss with the C-4, very strong. All the products from powerlab nutrition are great and the strongest out OTC with no question especially their pro hormones I used their old androlbol and it was like being on a cycle with no waiting for gains, only thing you have to really watch the liver because they are so strong.
