Default Breat implants for figure competitors

Hi everyone, Im in need of advice about breast implants. Im a figure competitor and would like to get some smallish implants but have a few questions for those that also train and compete with implants. Firstly how long after surgery can you go back to upper body weight training? After implants can you/do you still need to train the chest as hard? Should figure competitors opt for over or under the muscle? Is tear drop better than round? (Im naturally a size B and would like to get C implants) and is saline or silicone better?
I realize I can get lots of info about breast implants from the surgeon etc..but not alot of info about implants for weight training competitors. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated : )
    Thanks,
    Savinme

It is a topic that is very subjective and very personal to the needs of the person. A lot of the girls have over the muscle as well as under. think silicone is a more natural implant as opposed to the saline. There are more ruptures in saline as the saline wears the implant casing, that came from a leading surgeon that I know. As for shape you have to determine what YOU prefer as we are all different builds. Training never effected by implants after the healing period, train just as heavy as before, but is me. Took approx about 5mths for me to get back to normal training and still be mindful of the implants, if you feel pulling or pain ease up. It is all really commonsense and you will know if you are pushing it to hard. Good luck n your choice.

I think they can enhance the appearance of a fitness competitior.
Find a real good surgeon. They can consult with you and determine
what is best for your particular needs.

I don't compete, but train fairly hard. My implants are quite old (as am I) LOL.... and are old school silicone. When I go to get my mammograms they are amazed at how they have not hardened with scar tissue and I'm lucky in that aspect.
Two things I will warn....you CANNOT see thru implants on a mammogram, so any problems you may develop in the future could be obscured. A serious risk to consider.
Secondly, the leaner you get, the more obvious your implants become. I personally don't like the baseball on a board look, so getting too lean is something I avoid.
    Be nice, I'm elderly.

Once you have found a reputable surgeon, he will let you know wether you are better off with round or teardrop, it depends on your body, your existing breast tissue etc and what is best suited to it, same goes for placement.

I actually have mine half under the muscle, half over, as this was the best result for my body. (I had already had 2 children)

It is quite a painful recovery, and If I remember correctly 6 weeks before training again?

You train chest just the same as before....you dont get any break there!

Im sure they dont do old school silicone implants anymore, as when they rupture its bad news with silicone gel oozing out in your body

The new cohesive silicone gel implants (aka gummy bear implants) can not rupture, and you dont get the sloshing of saline inside, however you can still get the rippling effect. Particularly if you are lean, I do get a bit of rippling in certain positions.

I have had saline implants for about 9 years, no probs, training as usual, train chest hard......and if I ever get them replaced, I would choose cohesive gel implants.
