I would say bars, b/c in my experience this is the easiest place to pull women, and there are bars everywhere. BUT, it depends on what you are looking for. If you want a girl for the prospects of a long term relationship, the bar is the last place you should look. Go to the local law school library (if you want a smart one), or get involved in your community. If all else fails, just talk to that hot chick on the butt blaster at your gym.

Las Vegas at the Clubs/Bars... you got to have something unique about yourself though cause its competitive there. i use the "implied wealth" method. walk around in nice clothes and "act" like im a baller out of control
i would have to say AUSTRALIA.when i was in the navy that was only one of the few stops that we would wear our uniforms off the ship.they would be on the pier just waiting,or downtown at the clubs was very nice.
and 2nd i had a great time in corfu ,greece also.

I left Germany a year and a half ago.. Lived there for nearly 10 years. Five in the 1980s as a GI and then recently. In the 80's, German women were OK. Now, they have plumped up like the American ones. Bad attitudes and fat asses.
Best looking women in Germany are from Eastern Europe and they come with a price tag. It's not so much like dating a Russian woman as it is like foreign aid. Kiev is one hell of a place to pick up women as is Bourgas, Bulgaria and Riga, Latvia. That is if you like 6' blondes., Constanza, Romania and Budapest are also babe markets.
Thailand, no doubt. If you can't find something here, cut off your dick and throw it away because it is useless to you. I live here and get hit on by school girls in the night market. Dangerous place to live when you have a jealous wife who grew up in the area.

I lived in LA for four years. Short term yes, just tell them that you are a producer and are "in development" for a project. Not ready to cast yet unfortunatly, but soon. That will put the idea into whatever small, manipulative brain they have.
You will have action for at least a few weeks. Bad place to find anyone you would want to keep around for more than a few weeks, if that.

I don't know what it is like in other places, but in Canada, if you bounce when you are in college you will pull mad ass, and it doesn't even matter what you look like...
But those days are behind me now...Grew up, finished college, on a career track and met my current gf at the gym, and things are going great.

And that can be 100 baht (37.3 baht to the dollar) bills in northernThailand right now.
The new "short time" place next to me is having such a rough time because of the economy, that they have dropped the bar fine to 300 baht and most the girls only want 1000 ($23) for 2 hours. Those two hours have been liberally stretched to all night for a few baht more. Bad drought this year so the northern families sent the good looking daughters into town to make some cash to hold them through the times when they could not plant rice. As if some hottie, (who knows it) would not rather be in town, hanging out in a bar, all dresssed up, dinking and carousing with foreigners. No wait, planting rice for 3 cents a day is so much more glamourous.
My wife and I hear such sad stories from the girls as they sit outside trying to lure in customers. No foreigners here now. Air travel is too much of a hassle and the rainy season has started. "Can you loan me 1000 baht? The water buffalo died." "No, but you can share some of our BBQ, som tam and sticky rice if you are hungry" We end up with a lot of half naked young women at our picnic table. Buddha is rewarding me.
Stockholm Syndrome? Do you know it's origins? Interesting story.
Don't forget the Von in Munchhausen. The Baron (or Rudolph Raspe) would not be pleased.
