Stretched the top ligament on my good shoulder so its back to focusing on mass.
I have no Idea why (compensating?) and I don't really care. Time to pack on more beef and work on speed, agility. Started sprints uphill I was thinking about making a sled. What do you guys think are sleds worth it?? \ time to eat, canned tuna... |

man i love my sled. it was relatively cheap to make, it was just a regular push sled and i made it out of 2x6 boards, almost all of them 4' lengths. i got some pics on here somewhere i can post to give you something to go off of. it's low enough to where you have to really get low and drive it. it's a bitch, and the football guys love the damn thing. pushing it on grass is the hardest thing in the world to do.

I love working with wood but I think I'm going with the prowler.
Coach, looks like your sled might be a bit hard on the lawn??? Do you guys both just push or do you switch using a harness then push? WO's Chest I did chest db flats 75's x 12 95's x 12 105's x 10 115's x 8 x 2 flyes 55's x 12-14 x 4 cant remember the rest Back / traps pullups 20 12-15 w 45lb plt x 3 BOR db 95's x 10-14 x 4 single arm low pulls 4 sets 5 sets bi's Bench flats 135 x 15 205 x 10 235 x 10 all raw 275 x 10 shirted loose single 295 x 7-10 x 2 shoulder had enough IGB 265 x 10 245 x 10 225 x 15-18 x 2 worked the tri's hard tricep push dwns 5 sets inner / outer head Not going all out on pullups in an effort to save my shoulder. I can rep the shit out of them palms up but overhand now is more a pain management battle than focusing on the muscles being worked. I can work the lats harder with overhand grip using lat pull down machine so I guess I will make the switch. |

The sled works fine with the grass. Of course it's on a football field, so the grass is thick and whatnot. If you have patchy grass then it gets stuck in the transition from grass to dirt or vice versa. I don't every pull it, but that's mainly because i don't have a harness. I have done it before though and it destroys the quads.

Easy on the shoulders, hard on the lats. I like it better than the double overhand. |
