I appreciate you looking over that thing for me too. I also did a GPP program for them as well, but it's just pretty basic and nothing fancy.

You know we sometimes intertwine lifting and our lifestyles together. Which in certain ways is not all bad. A lot of benefits to bending iron. For me, it's my stress reliever (aka prozac). But as Rob Luyando still puts it, it's a hobby. Not many of us are blessed with great sponsors and lucrative supplement and equipment deals. And even less are fortunate enough to win a decent amount of prize money to even break even. But we do it because we love it. So, definitely bro, the job comes first. That pays the bills and puts food on the table. Look at it like this, it's temporary and it ain't like someone just cut both your arms and legs off. And knowing you, I doubt that would stop you anyway. LOL!

speed bench, crew no showed so I went alone
3 board with 60lbs of chain(squat bar) bar*3 145*3 235*3 325*3*5sets finished with some pump up work for ass. banded tricep extensions 3sets of 30 rows with blue band 3*20 face pulls with bands 3*20 piston presses 2*25 nice quick workout. I feel good just a few hard ones left. I have realized that I dont half to go balls out to make progress I just need to train smart I should hit some good numbers at the meet goal is 2150. |

busy busy busy
no help at all Monday so no big squat, We are gonna do some circa max crap with our suits before the meet. To many risk with no spotter trying to squat 900 bench day felt like shit wand warm up sucked so I thought what the hell I'll skip the shirt and try 405 raw, finally got that shit and got that monkey off my back, this was actually the first time Ive tried to hit it off the chest. Not bad considering I havent tried to increase my raw bench. Light ass. work to finish. Looking forward to the next couple of weeks and get back to real training after the meet is over. |

not a whole lot to write about. I have been helping coach a rec football team so trainig has been limited but I have been getting a ton of gpp playing with the kids. Hit 545 on the bench easy last night after helping the kids all evening.
dead day last hevay one before the meet all sets had 60lbs of chain 135*1 225*1 315*1 add suit 500*1 605*.999 fell back at lock out but this is way up there. I know I will pull mid 6's at the meet. I found something with my stance and its working. I have allot of jerk off the floor like a conventional puller so I brought my stance in some so I get the best of both the sumo and conventional world. I will hit 815 for a double monday and squat 900 then as well. Meet goal is 2150! |

Went to the pro am this weekend and it has me jacked up to lift again. Bumped into Viking and hes looking huge...good seing you again
Parallel box squats just like at a meet warm ups and all bar*5 255*3 455*1 add breifs 635*1 add suit 815*1 cake, I was a little shaking going down due to the straps being a bit to tight for this wieght, they will be good for the second attempt:F_EYEB~166: rack pulls from the knee with 60 lbs of chain 315*3 405*1 495*1 615*1 I was going to quit after 495 but Chuck fought pulled 875 easy yesterday and he's in my weight class, no excuses if I ever want to have any chance at being better than him I will half to work harder than him, Im not saying I can but if I dont put the work in it will never happen! finished with some light ab and upper back work. Feeling good as long as I dont do anything stupid! |

I have little to no choice on feds. In Texas you're stuck going APF, unless you live in Houston, then you have a couple others to chose from. I don't really care where I lift, as long as I can lift...and as long as there aren't any assholes there. I meet a few people from a few feds that made up my mind not to compete with them.
Someday I will be at a Pro/Am...perhaps pulling 700...DBC is my hero. Shitdamn DB, your meet is next Saturday! You ready to rip the roof off or what man? I'VE been waiting for your meet for forever, can't imagine how you feel! Good luck. You're stronger than ever big boss. |

2 left before the meet.
today I did some light safetyt bar box squats. Just up to 2 plates for a set of 15 just stretching. Finished with some abs and upper back. Speed bench on Wednesday and thats it. My nerve are all in an uproar. I just need to embrace the wieght on the squat and I'll be fine. I have been after an official 800 for a while now. Some shit always comes up one meet I couldnt get down my form was so shitty the next one I got hurt and the meet at the end of last summer I took a token squat, Saturday 815 will be my opener and and By God I will get it off my back then Im calling for 900! |
