Yeah Ive done 700 of the same box with a straight bar several times, the damn safety squat bar is fucking killer. I remember reading a flyer that elitefts sent me and Dave Tate said he could barley do 4 plates on it just after squatting 7+ in a meet. I honestly feel like I have just been beaten by a gang of people.

abs on glute ham to warm up. 4 board close grip bar*5 135*3 225*3 315*3 405*1 super easy 455*miss * 3 attempts couldnt get the right arm to move. I was bitching in the other thread about my lower end being shitty but I think its now the mid range the 4 and 5 board that sucks. Im gonna keep doing what I have been but I will add more 4 and 5 boards in stead of 3 boards until I feel the need to change. lockouts up to 635 form about 4" range of motion I actually tried 705 and broke the pins but couldnt lock out. lat pulls 3*20 shrugs on machine 3*20 done next week is light except for upper back it will be heavy barbell work. I may work up Friday again just to feel more confident about the squat. |

bar*?*3sets 245*3 425*2*2+briefs and belt 605*2 remove box to free squat 695*2+suit> high but fast, just trying to get my suit seated 815*1 cut it a little high didnt get set up well but it was fats this was just to get in 1 last workout in the suit deadlifts 225*1 405*1 565*1> full gear weight felt light but it was just slow form the lack of speed pulls down sets 315*10 paused every rep on the bottom 225*15 just for pure speed finished with glute ham raises All in all a good workout just a few left till the meet, everything feels good Im just a barrel of nerves like before every meet. If I could just be a little more self confident I would do allot better but I have put my work now itstime to see what it will reward. |

suspended good mornings high position with safety squat bar> this actually made the lift start a little lower than a regular bar bar*5 1plate*3 2plates*3 2.5plates*3 3plates*1*3sets reverse hypers 3 sets glute ham raises 2 sets done. Im still working out this week but it is very low intensity and Im cutting the volume back. I have 4 workouts left till the meet, the goal is to keep the blood flowing but not to do any real work. |

Well shit I was at work this morning and found out that I will not able to go to the meet so I was very pissed but then I checked my email and learned that the monlift I thought I had missed out on is mine if I want it. Im hurt Im not doing the meett but Im more excited about the mono. At least now I can for sure do the apf meet in bama and meet strongman and webber. yes Sm I know I still owe you a steak!!!

im pretty sure im doing that APF meet in march as well dbc. im not in serious competition mode, but i think i actually might be able to set a raw bench PR in my off time
plus, i've always heard that that is an awesome meet and it oughta be fun. so regardless of how strong i am at the time, i think ill check it out. |
