Default Muscle maturity?

IMO, "Muscle maturity" is just some damn catch word/term! Nothing more and nothing less! It should be discarded! If Merriam-Webster's add this term to their dictionary, they can go sit on a wad of 7H pencils!

The term muscle maturity is a generic phrase used when describing muscular "quality" that is "lasting" and can only be acheived with long term training. It's depth and density that's not built in the short term. It's not an attribute that someone automatically attains when they reach a certain age. It must be earned by paying your dues. This is in contrast to the quick gainer that puffs up in the short term, gains and enormous amount of weight in a short cycle, and loses everything once he's off the juice.

I don't like that term muscle maturity either. My muscles looked harder and denser when I was in my 20's than it does now that I'm in my 40's.
