I was sat down at my first appointment at the trt clinic. I was shown various methods actually 5. Testim,Androgel, pills ,test e, and cream. The clinic seemed
to be pushing the transdermals. What is the truth when it comes to trt? I would of assumed that injectable test works best. Any opinions? |

Ive been on TRT for 3+ years now and the gels never worked for me. I used Testim and Androgel to no avail. Test Cypionate worked ok but my levels never got over 300 no matter how much I was taking. Then again, I say that in regards to how much my doc told me to take which was never more then 1.5 cc a week. I am now taking Test Enthinate (spelling) at 1.5 cc every other week and my levels are still around 300, 350 once in the past 5 months. I have recently asked my doc to switch me to sustanon as I have read in many places that it works the best for levels and for libido. Good luck

I also use androgel. started with 1 pack if 5 G. Noticed a little bit as I started to work out again after many years. toned up all over a lot more than I had been in years and lost a little weight. Doc upped me to the pump which is the equivalent to 2 packs of 5 g for a total of 10 g. which is 8 pumps.
Just started that about a week ago but hopefully I'll notice more. If not I'm going to take the shots every 2 weeks and see how that goes. If I had a choice like you I'd probably go with the shots but I wanted to see how the adnrogel worked first. Now I know but I'm glad that I had a chance to find out. Good luck. |

The "problem" with HRT (IMHO) is that unless you are really LOW (clinical hypo, with high stim hormones, but just low test output), then your body's feedback mechanism works against whatever kind of test you are using. I started on compounded gel (100mg/ml, 1 cc EOD, but now up to 3 cc EOD) ... works fine for a while, then things balance out. I'm going to "cycle" HRT (so HPTA axis returns to normal) ... spike it more.. and try HGH for long-term effectiveness (btw, I'm 52 ...) As Arnold said, "you must surprise your muscles" ... same goes for hormones!

There is a big difference between alot of us on TRT. There are the older guys that have slightly lowered levels but still producing decent amounts of their own test (they will have the negative feedback effect). There are post cycle guys that are low but may eventually recover with proper PCT or absence of exogenous test. Then there are the ones that need TRT the most that have actual super low levels <8nmol. With these guys the replacement test will just barely make them feel normal and will likely need decent amounts.

You would think right? Well my highest level to date was 352 and thats was 3 days after taking a 1.55 cc shot of TEST C. Ask about adding in proviron and hcg or hmg. 3 days is not a significant of time to see changes with slow acting esters such a test C. LC |

hcg should help you out immensely and with the added benifit of proviron you get an anabolic effect as well as an estrogen blocker. I think you'll get the best results with both drugs. I don't think that the proviron will take away any good side effects of the hcg. Go for it and let us know how it goes. |
