Default HRT dosages and blood tests

From what I've read here and on other boards, it appears that for HRT 200-250mg of test E a week will be sufficient. Is HCG essential? What are the blood (or other) tests that someone on HRT should take regularly to make sure that everything else is working ok?

Not entirely true.In Australia your specialist can only prescribe you enough testosterone so that you have a testosterone reading no higher than 25nmol/l .To achieve this level , 250mg will be administered on average every 14 days or in some case every 21 days.

Usually Hcg inAustralia is prescribed to patients prior to swapping over to testosterone injections.

Some of the test order are as follows :
total testosterone
SHGB
DHEAS
free testosterone
prolactin
LH/FSH/estradiol/progesterone /PSA
Total Cholestrol/HDL/LDL/TGS

Question

what I don't understand is , Does administering exo. test REALLY bring your natural levels up? seems to me you would be worse off when you come off vs. having a higher test level.

Most intelligent Dr's will NOT opt for 1 shot every 3 weeks. Lower dosed, more frequent injections keep a MUCH steadier blood level, and MUCH better results.

I had a Dr. put me on 1.5 mg of Enanthate every 3 weeks (That's 300 mg's) I got Gyno just before my third shot. It was the Ratio of Androgen to Estrogen.

We switched to 1 cc of Cypionate weekly, and My blood work is perfect - along with no more Gyno.

Default Trt

I have had two blood tests by my endo, both with very low test results.
I have to go see him this week to discuss Trt.

I have trained hard for years and it showed, but at 45yrs old I have slowed right down with the usual symptoms.

This visit to the doc should see me back on track though.

200 mgs/week is very HIGH and 250 is a cycle. Small one, but a cycle.

200mgs/week puts me about 2000 in a range of 240-950.

The majority of those that i have talked to use between 100-150 mgs/week.

That puts the majority of us in the high end range.

correct.
To just get to normal... with NO test production at all... the average male only needs 50-75 mgs a week.

the average male produces the EQUIVALENT of taking 30-70 mgs a week as a depot.

Currently, my HRT Dr has me on 80 mg's per week of cypionate (0.8 ml's every 7-10 days). That's pretty conservative.

Of course, I'm decided to add another zero onto that number, and I am currently running 800 mg's per week, LOL!

this answers a lot of questions....this study followed 56 men divided equally into 5 or 6 groups taking a range of 50mg/week to 600mg/week for 20 weeks. They have the results posted here.....

damn australia has taken such a negative turn in regards to gear... i remember back in the late 90's and 00 or so when all sorts of good stuff came from there like ilium, jurox, and even those lovely 500ml 100mg test prop veterinary bladders.

WTF happened?
