Faith, as the bible uses the word, has nothing to do with "believing when there is no evidence to justify belief". Actually it is exactly the opposite - where the belief or trust/dependence comes from something concrete (e.g. having witnessed something). Unfortunately, the word 'faith' is often used in this world to mean a blind-belief, which just isn't how the Bible uses the term. There is an abundance of scientific and archeological evidence to support the Bible.
