I still think mixing a can or 2 into a large salad is the best way to disguise the taste of it. I use lettuce, celery, tomatoes, cucumbers, baby carrots, etc and mix the can or 2 of tuna into it all, then top with some low cal Italian dressing or even better the new spray-able salad dressings that have zero calories. Its quick, I don't even notice the tuna and easy to make.

My Mum used to make this for me when I was a kid. I still eat it all the time.
1 Big can of flaked tuna in water (drained) 1 Can of creamed corn 1/4 cup of frozen peas A couple of thin slices of tomato Bread crumbs (optional) Hot sauce or cayenne pepper to your taste Mix the tuna, corn and peas in an oven-proof bowl. Add spice to your taste. Lay the slices of tomato on top of the mixture and sprinkle with the bread crumbs if you are bulking. (sometimes I add a little cheese if I'm bulking too). Put in the oven at 350F for about 20mins. Let it cool before you dig in, this shit scalds like napalm. You can also put it in the microwave if you don't have the time or are at work. Thanks mum! |
