I remember that in other mags 'Am of the month' or 'rising stars' was always the kiss of death! never saw any of those guys ever again!

I won't be doing it just for that reason.

We will profile all BBers, young and old.

Age is not an issue for us, just quality physiques.
We have a young 18 year old kid in the next issue. He's got an awesome physique.

Would love to see a profile done on Michelle Nazaroff who had open heart surgery to replace the valves in her heart and was told she would never compete again. Then she won INBA Figure Intermediate the following year and went on to win the Olympia Gold Medal for Figure Open Tall the next. Can give you her contact details if you're interested? She's taken a year off to have a baby this year, but will be back competing in 2009. No doubt bigger and better than ever!!

Michelle's story sounds like a beauty!
We would need to get some training shots of her in contest shape for a profile.
Hopefully we can catch up with her next year after she's had her baby.

It's a deal!! Mind you, she's a bit like Lucy Hermans in that she is very modest and will be quite embarrassed that I have dobbed her in... LOL!! She was also told she would never have a family, but she proved the Doctors wrong there also!!

We did a great story on Lucy Hermans in one of our earlier issues.
She ended up getting a sponsorship out of it.

Lucy will be one of the dancers at this years CCI.

About time someone gave that amazing athlete a sponsorship deal, cannot believe it took so long!! She is such an asset to the sport of Figure Bodybuilding and such an awesome girl, It was nice to catch up with her at the All Female. Lindy interviewed Lucy and has it up on her website. if you're interested in seeing it. I remember sharing my chocolate backstage with Lucy at the NABBA/WFF Southern Hemisphere Titles a couple of years ago. She told me later that I was the only girl who spoke to her that day... all the other girls ignored her. I told her that jealousy was a curse
