Have you been born again?
This group is not about a specific religious institution, it is not about helping people establish their own righteousness but helping seeking hearts to understand that they cannot earn their salvation. Salvation is a gift which was paid for by our Lord God Jesus Christ and they can be saved if they receive Him. Once you receive Him you will be a part of the Body of Christ which is made up of believers and not buildings as Paul wrote the most high does not dwell in Temples made with hands.
How can you get saved?
You must first understand that nothing you do will be enough. Sinners cannot dwell with God as He is perfect.
Jesus paid the full price of your sin on the cross therefore only he has the authority to forgive your sins.
Repent which means turn. Turn away from your self reliance and trust the finished work of Jesus to pay for everything. This means all credit will go to Him and not you.
Choose this day to trust in the blood of His cross forever, and His promise of the forgiveness of sins is yours. This means you will have been born again and a new creature in Christ.
John 3:3-7 wrote:
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
