Hey ladies.. I am Amber and new here obviously! Before I became preggo with my first child I was a small B, soon to become a DD, then shortly a floppin full B! Now preggo with my 2nd, I am obviously full again for now! The question is, knowing that when busting but and getting ripped, losing most of your fat, those babies go first!
I have researched one of the best dr's on the east coast and his style he goes under the muscle.. Is that ok? I am 5'8 a natural 175 pounds.. But due to a medical condition I will have to have as less body fat as possible to keep myself from going blind or even more fatal! I would like to take up body building a lot more serious after I have my child and rip up, but what size should I go with in chest size? I dont want to have to big of boobs and not big enough muscles vice versa?! I never plan on having children again so I want to do it right!! Have more women opt'd for like a full D when getting that done, and how many cc's? |

Hi 4ML84. Just a quick reply about the implants. I have had mine for over 10yrs now not the same ones but had implants for that long. My surgeon has placed mine under the chest muscle, he is a reconstructive surgeon for cancer patients also. I really think it is self preference as to how you want them to look. I know a lot of girls that have them placed on top. You really need to look at before and after photos of both proceedures to make up your mind. But regardless of where they are placed you can still train chest, that is after your healing period. Like most things you just have to be sensible about it all and if you feel that one certain exercise is pulling or hurting don't do it, simple as that and find another that suits your body.
PS You will love them once you get them. |

I've had mine for 22 years and they are silicone and over the muscle. I have been extremely lucky that I have had no encapsulation (hardening due to scar tissue)
I went for a large C b/c I have no desire to look like a porno queen. I didn't get mine so they would draw stares and attention. I wanted to look more in proportion, and I was a small B naturally. My surgeon suggested I look thru playboys and find a look and size I liked. He could determine the cc's I would need to achieve that look. I always add that I would have no regrets on having the procedure done except for the fact my mother was diagnosed and died of breast cancer within 3 years very soon after my surgery. I was NOT informed that my mammograms would be very hard to read b/c of implants....under the muscle solves that problem, but was not available then. I have no plans to have them redone. I would have them done under the muscle if I were you. BTW....what medical condition will blind or kill you if you become less lean? Just curious. |

Well this is def weird and DEF boggles my mind as far as medical issues are concerned! I started having severe headaches when my pregnancy came along.. At the time I was over weight and unhealthy. My spine was creating more spinal fluid then needed, building up on my brain causing pressure on my optic nerve and various other issues in my head.. it is already bad enough I have a husband causing brain problems for me.. haha.. but since I am preggo there was nothing really they could do for me but A. give me lumbar punctures (kinda like spinal taps) every week for the rest of my pregnancy.. Which can cause bad spinal problems for me in the future B. have brain surgery and a stint put in the back of my head causing me to have to drain it for the rest of my life or C. take a medication that would cause my unborn child birth defects or even worse and not to "cure" my condition but make it live able!
So I took matters into my own hands and I lost a total of 50 pounds early in my pregnancy! Not good I know but I had no other choice! I could have decided to do nothing stayed heavy with the 90 something percent chance of losing my eye sight.. Which my opthomologist said would be the thing that would most likely happen! When I lost the weight and got on a very strict diet the condition bettered itself and now very minimal! I have to go back every 2 weeks to get checked up, but they said it was def do to being over weight and that once I have the baby I need to stay as fit as possible because I will always live with this just need to control it! To me it makes no sense I have never heard of anything like this in my WHOOOOLE life! But apparently it isnt toooo common!? |

hi hun- i'm brand new here but have had 2 boob surgeries - first was b- to c
==. second was c++ to ddd. (34" around) listen: UNDER MUSCLE UNDER MUSCLE UNDER MUSCLE -- you'll be much happier. especially if you get sa;ine bc if they're not overfilled just right, you'll see ripples! under hides a lot of sins, but go 55 cc higher than you would for over. my doc does a 90% under, 10% over which looks and feels awesome. can't judge cc's bc depends on how much room there is on your chest -- is there a lot of room between your clavicle and the crease:? the longer your chest is, the more you can take. also, it's true that most people are too conservative at first and either have 2 surgeries or wish they had gone bigger. i have 650's, but i'm 5'4, so they would look smaller on you - since you're 5'8. are you getting a lift, too? what's your pre-existing cond that your vision is in jeopardy? that's the most impt- whatever you do make sure doc and anesthesiologist know everything! good luck! ps- this turned out to be my first post - hi, all ![]() ' - |

Now, I am a guy but I do have an opinion on this! Women with implants over the muscle and low bf just looks bad. Under the muscle is what I like, it works better with low bf too. It looks and feels better IMO.

I do not plan to have them removed on the "chance" I might also get the disease, it is a fear I will live with. I have also opted at this time not to have the BRAC test done either, which is a blood test that can gauge your likelihood of developing breast or ovarian cancer. I don't want to know. There is nothing I can do short of a dbl mastectomy as far as prevention goes that I don't already do. |

Having a family history or family member with breast cancer, does not play a large role in most women's chances of developing breast cancer. Women with a family history of breast cancer make up only 5 to 7 percent of all women with breast cancer. Please do not think b/c you have no family history that there is not a chance to develop the disease. While you are waiting, you should do MUCH research on the risks.....and make darn sure you can read a mammogram w/an under the muscle procedure. |

True ^^^^^ Dawn has not undergone the reconstructive process yet and it will be a while before she does. She is having a lot of complications right now due to the chemo and removal of lymph nodes in her left arm. She looks like walking death; brave girl.
