I'm a lot older than all of you girls on this forum and the last lot of dieting down for the INBA put me into a very quick change of life so the battle started from therewith the hormone crap. He has had a challenge with me but it is working well. The thing is because of all the factors above, mine probably wouldn't suit you young ladies. God I wish I were your ages again. It's bloody hard trying to hold muscle and train and work fulltime when your an oldie. Tee Hee.
I have NOOOO f'n clue how you chicks do no carbs. I tried that for a week, actually 5 days....NO DAMN WAY!!! I've done, at most, 3 days w/o carbs, but that 4th and 5th day...FUCK THAT!! I actually gained a pound that week. Manolo told me it was probably because I wasn't have any good fats. I just ate chicken and broc, all day....every day.

When I did my last 2 shows, I had 50 grams of carbs a.m., right after morning cardio, and no carbs the rest of the day. The last week, I ate clean, and the day before, basically nothing, with the water dehydration thing. The morning of, I had peanut butter and honey.

Where I am now, is just maintaining, I guess. I stay between 110-115.

I'm planning on doing a show in April of next year, and I'm going to give the no carb thing a try again, probably in January, to see how it works.

U just lucky though, with your body..... it seems like u have less difficulties with your weight.... I just have to look at food... I can easily gain 5-8 lbs per weekend, and that's it without going crazy !!!!!!!

I am doing the high-med-low "diet" right now... its very do-able.....

My weakness is of course the weekend, so starting this week, no more cheatmeals at all, whatsoever til Nov 8th... Hopefully that will do the trick..

I would lose a couple of lbs during the week mon-fr, and then sat morning I stand on the scale... being happy about what I lost, and then the following week it's all back on, just because I had 2-3 cheatmeals over the weekend... not good..... gonna break that cycle...

Girl, that's tough. The thought of dieting like that makes my heart ache...LOL.

I just turned 29 in July, and I heard that things start falling apart then, so I need to try to be more cautious. I've gotten passed the hurdle of having kids, so 1 down and 1 to go. I don't really go ALL OUT, but I'm not strict, either.

If I put on more than I want, I'll eat clean for a week, do some cardio and get steady again.

Nah, really you should. It's REALLY helpful to get feedback. Plus, you're kind of forced to eat clean because you have to answer to someone. Of course, you could lie, but that would just be so wrong.

WOW...125!!! Damn, that's insane. I've been watching a couple of youtube vids, just to get an idea of what I need to change, and the most I've seen in 12.

I really have to focus on getting wider, calves, and the vastus medialis muscle to come out. My quads are way too big compared to everything else.

I hope this show will be a bigger show in April. Since it's going to be in NY, I hope there will be more girls. Thing is, I don't want to do IFBB or NPC. I'm 100% natural, and those girls are just way too much for me to even be on the same playing field.

Girl, I envy u... but hey, good for u.....

As soon as I hit puberty, I was "done".... I was 14 yrs old, had DD boobies, and I was maybe 10-15 lbs over my ideal weight... not too bad....

In my early 20's I was 128 lbs, looking pretty good... but then, my first yr in the States... OMG... not used to having a car to go wherever I wanted to go, and McDonalds around the corner...... 185 lbs.... size 16

Lost it all again, and I've been pretty good since then... size 4-8
And I didn't have kids !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF....lol

Like I said, my problems are the weekends.... I love to snack... and I love Everything... donuts, cookies, apple pie, chocolate, candy, chips.....

I haven't been to McDonalds since 2006... Pretty Good huh....

It's a life sentence for me, and it just sucks......

Last week, I started doing more cardio, hopefully that will help me as well...

She looks awesome. That's one of my problems. I need rounder shoulders. Here is a pic from my last show. I was WAY off because of some personal problems the day of the show (my ex-bf being there and just general stuff), but shoulders are real weak.

I hate the angle of the pic. My skin problem showed up really bad in those pics.

I wasn't real happy with the pics, mainly the angles where the chick was. She was standing on the bottom of the stage.

U have some stretch marks on your belly??? is that it, or just the angle of the pic
U really have a nice body....

here is a link to the website, with the results of the comp from last Sat.

Muscular Development Online Magazine

u can check them out, see where u would place yourself.... it was unbelievable, the majority of the women looked AWESOME....

One lady, didn't place, because she had TOO MUCH muscle.... they told her, she needed to lose more muscle, lmao....

I just checked and found my diet, I will start a thread... maybe Shannyn can jump in with me.....

ROFL I knew that would blow you away. And you know what I feel every bit of it after I train. LOL. but there ain't no better feeling on the day of the comp and your on stage and knowing thats your age and succeeded. I compete at approx 101-103 lb. I am a tiny boned. The photos posted are great god wish I look like that. One thing for my size my upper body comes in fairly big or wide whichever word is appropiate. Know what you mean about the no carb diet. I thought stopping my oats of a morning was going to kill me. Although I am hungry at night but that is always a precomp condition.

I totally understand at comps, but for me, I had 3 kids, and so, instead of working against age, I have to work with some flaws of not taking care of myself when I was preggo. Live and learn, though.
