Default Syringe

Do any of you go to needle exchanges to get your syringes?

I know a lot of people order online, but I have three clinics nearby that offer needle exchanges. I always get my needles from there.

Just a heads up.

You can get syringes and needles from home health supply stores, Shoppers Drug Marts(some not all) and other full service drugstores. I have never had any problem obtaining what I needed.

Pick which ever is closest! Vancouver Community - Mental Health & Addictions - VCH. Vancouver even has a supervised injection clinic.

Happy Pinning.

I know a guy who would get his syringes at a needle exchange, but since the majority of people using this service are IV drug users, I don't want anyone to think I'm a junkie, even if the needles are free.

You can pick up insulin syringes anywhere. As for 22g or 25g, you may have to call around, but a box of 100 is less than $25.

Wells pretty private no-one sees that you collect the neeedles. You just go into a room and put it in your bag.

In shoppers a box of syringes are around 35 bucks, plus 8 for extra needles.

I dont really give a shit if people think I am a junkie. There are bigger things in life to worry about then that sort of crap.

Shoppers and some of the other large chain drug stores do not carry anything bigger than insulin syringes. However I always get one of those buckets from them for putting discarded needles into for my shit. the bucket is free and you can take all your pins there no questions asked.

I actually went to one yesterday and they only had 1-2cc syringes for 30 bucks. A box of needles 25 gauge 5/8 " was 8 dollars.

Lol do you like pain? Any reason why you pick the 22s over 25s? I always used to use 22 for glutes and 23 for delts. But when I picked up a box of 25s thats all I use.

We have several needle exchanges in my city. Some are actually stationed out of a vans that park on designated streets in the evenings. I used them for years. I know one guy that is a hype. He just call the exchange saying that he is coming in and they have 1,000 insulin pins ready for him to pick up. Of course you have to exchange for the same amount. If only they have larger sizes than insulin pins.

tried out the local needle exchange program myself a few months ago. I' used to just go to the local shoppers but sometimes they limit you to only being able to buy 5 or 10 at a time.
The needle exchange was super easy, no questions asked, plus they gave me more then i asked for.
I got a whole box of 22's for free....can't beat that.
Plus they have anything else u might need...swabs etc.

Gotta agree with Dakkon on the 22's. 25's IMO are too thin. I think the 22's are easier to inject with. But they will make you bleed more.
