So here i was looking forward to getting a 4 day weekend this weekend.
Ive woken up thursday morning, my feet and hands felt kinda itchy but i didnt pay much attention. Went in and did my morning cardio got home, and my feet were burning itchy... but i just figured 45 mins on the cross training rubbed my feet the wrong way. for the rest of the day i felt ok... sly itchy... trained in the arvo (great session)... but crashed out very early... as i wasnt feeling too fresh woke up friday morning... covered in red blotches went to the doctor. tells me ive had an alergic reaction (no shit)... gives me prednislone and phenergen and sends me on my way... its saturday morning now... and im no better now im dieting. so my food intake is bland at best and very repetitive recently under alcs advice i lowered my carb intake and added some good fats... all these fats, EVOO, Mac nut oil... ive used plenty of times before no problems... so i doubt its directly anything ive eaten. could be something with in the food ive eaten or or even the tap water, just too hard to tell... anyone got any ideas how i can speed the recovery? |

I've used Phenergan (for a spider bite) and was amazed at the speed of it's effectiveness.
Maybe its not something you have consumed - have you considered all other things you may have come into contact with or even inhaled? Anything like new washing up powder, different fabrics, aftershave, deodarent, bodywash, insects, etc. Have you been anywhere you don't nomally go? Around any plants (especially at this time of year) or in contact with any unfamiliar pets / animals, chemicals i.e. paint, etc? |

theoretically it shouldnt since its hypoallergentic but you never know.. stop using it for a few days and see if that helps.. explains the hands itching but not the feet hehe seems more like a topical kind of reaction doesnt it? does benadril help? what about calamine lotion?

How much macadamia nut oil are you using and how long have you been using it for?
Macadamia nuts are notorious for influencing IgE response... The most likely allergic reaction from the Proactive would be some type of local contact dermatitis, so I doubt highly that that would have caused it. Go to the pharmacist and get some loratadine and take that during the day... Phenergan will knock you on your arse so take that before bed if you need it. I would avoid using the predisnolone unless the rash becomes really itchy and raised. Perhaps even go to the health food shop and get some nettle cream (antiallergic). I think 'Martin and Pleasance' make a good cream called 'Urticaria' or 'Nettle Cream', something like that. You need to identify exactly what has caused the reaction, personally I would start with the macadamia oil if it seems applicable and avoid it. If you are prone to allergy you could maybe look at doing GIT repair programme in the future. |

Testosterone production begins in the brain. When the hypothalamus detects a deficiency of testosterone in the blood, it secretes a hormone called gonadotrophin-releasing hormone to the pituitary gland. This prompts the pituitary to secrete luteinizing hormone (LH), which then prompts the Leydig cells in the testes to produce testosterone. |
