COMMENTS..I used to think i wrapped my knees tight,, and thought when people complained about tight wraps, they were pussies...I apologize..... I was wrapped for the first time by someone else..he said it was a good wrap, but not super tight. I say , hes a damn liar...

I also learned today that my straps are way too small, and really fucked me on the 600.. I was ready to quit and take up competitve majjong because thats how shitty it felt ,, but i am lucky to squat with one of the top 10 181's in the world, and he pointed it out...I was leaning way to forward, and losing my arch since the suit was pulling me forward so hard...... I also felt really shitty at the bottom, and top for that matter..He attributed this all to the straps...I believe Ginny alters Metal suits?? Im gonna get velcros.....

ONE QUESTION THOUGH.....

When trying to squat back,, a few times i had the sensation that i was gonna tip/fall over backwards...I know i wasnt that far back ,,, and i get back farther on a box at lighter weight,, so what weakness do you think i need to address???? Hips hams?? Lower back???

After the 600, i did 2 more sets at 510 with straps down...Got to get time under the mono,,and i used the suit like breifs for the rest of the workout..

Did a few gms , but had to be at work for noon, so i didnt do much of that , nor the reverse hyper that i used for the first time....And i got there about 1:30..Fuck it.....

Thoughts?????

Like I said the first time, kill those gm's, it will really help with the getting forward thing...I figured it would happend, because your already getting into serious weight, and it's completly normal...the reverse hypers will really help also, I did some for the first time at Wades in Nashville, and could barely move the damn thing with a 35lb plate on it...those damn box squats sure are going up fast, is that box at or below parallel?...

box is above parallel, by about 2" or so....My program calls for 3 boxes,, 21, 19 and 17, in that order.. Im off a 17 now, because i dont think i can handle all that volume just yet.. All boxes are completely raw , not even a belt...

His point is that i work the mid range and lockouts hard, and then let my gm and suit work get me out of the hole, where i can crush weight to the top......

At first i was skittish, but its really like board presing for bench work....

Al suit work is done full range, no box,,with called depth..Which i hit occasionaly......

PS. Got the suit on in about 15 minutes or so this time...

Good, the suit will get easier to get on but should not be easy to put on....be careful of doing wide stance low box squats without suit bottoms for extended periods of time, it will bother your hips after a while...I like to wear a loose old suit (I use an old champion), do you still have that old z-suit?..if so, use it for those box squats...
