How do you all find the time to eat 8 meals a day and bulk when working a normal job?
I cannot see how it's possible unless you are working a desk job. If not, I just can't fathom how bulking can even be possible??
Any tips?
thanks

preparation
meals that will not spoil quickly and a good cooler bag are neccessary.
learn to like cold foods, if there are no heating facilties near by, and pre cook as much food as you can at the beginning of the week and pre pack it into containers.
bring a cooler and stick everything you would normally eat at home in there and just eat it cold... Very easy..
I find it a bit of a pain but I eat alot of tuna and chicken. I cook the chicken the night before and just nuke it at work. Tuna is easy enough to eat from the can.
Protein shakes and bars can be used in a pinch. Egg cartons can be gulped in a few secs and give you 50grams of protein.
A better idea is to go on unemplyoment and stay home to eat. Easier that way.

:D lol
Yeah like to pros say ... you can't do bodybuilding and have a job.
Anyways when I was working as a directional driller on the oil patch it was a hard labor job and I always could find 15 minutes every few hours to down a shake, sandwich, protein bar, etc. I'd sometimes keep peanut butter sandwiches in my pockets and quickly shove one down my throat when I had a couple minutes of standing around.

I normally will prepare meals a day or two before and place them in the frig until I am ready to use them. You can also get some small Thermos bottles to place hot food in. I have a desk job and also a lot of walking all day long so it is difficult to do it correctly. It has to become habit forming and then you will be fine.

like said earlier, preparation, and have food ready to grab and eat. Water helps me sometimes to wash down food quickly. You can't beat shakes for quickness.

are you saying you drink a carton of egg whites or something? Is it safe to just drink a carton like that?

Sunday night...cook the whole week's worth of chicken breast and rice etc....fill up take away food containers with rice and chicken and top up with frozen vegies. Then put it all in the freezer. Each day take out what you need and microwave at work.

Cook enough rice to last the week (or a little longer). Sunday I prepare two meals, cook chicken or other meat mince, put into containers with rice, take to work. Another two days, I add tuna to the rice. On the fifth day, I allow myself a take away chicken and maybe a fried rice. Because of my job in an open office, and don't have breaks 'till lunch, I also have one meal with a protein bar.

I take two shakers full of powder and snake some of the milk we get for coffee. That's two meals. I skip out for a snack at around 10, and then a big ass lunch at 1. That's 4 meals at work right there. Catch the other ones at home. Becomes habit.

Just make sure you sniff the carton of egg whites prior to gulping. I gulp down 2/3 of the containor befor I realized it was bad. Spent the next 10min puking my guts out....

cooking all meals once or twice a week is key. have your diet layed out, cok enough food and package it up. each morning just grab that days food and put into a cooler and go. for desk jobs cold chicken and carrots are the way to go, cut the chicken into 4 strips and eat away, if anyone says anything to you just point out the fat bitch munching pretzels all day (cause theyre fat free). pork chops with no bone can be eaten the same way. chicken is also great for those on the go. I walk all day at work, put the chicken in a paper towel and walk around, same with apples, same with hard boiled eggs. bite of egg, bite of carrot it goes down ok.
protein drinks - take an empty gatorade bottle, throw in 3-5 scoops of protein, add some powdered milk. when its time to drink just get water from drinking fountain and shake away, add an apple or carrots and theres a small meal.
cold food sucks but you get used to it
