I'm looking for some new lunches to try for work... Most of the time I don't have access to microwave, so I end of eating plain jane sandwiches and shorting my self calories/protein. Anyone got any ideas or different sandwiche recipes to try? Open to all "crazy" blends...
i too pack my lunch about everyday. here is what i make. i get these low carb/high fiber whole wheat wraps. add 5oz turkey or chicken breast (i have been using low sodium cuts from the grocery store...still high in sodium, but beggars can't be chosers when in a pinch). add some deli mustard/tomato/low fat cheese. i also pack 2oz of almonds in a ziplock. add an apple or some fruit. and i take a bottle with protein powder. just add water when you're ready to drink it. i also pack some dry snacks or an extra protein shake.

tuna shakes, best meal in a short time.
16oz of crystal light/water, ice cubes, 2 cans of drained chunk light tuna in water. Mix in blender for a minute or more. You have to shake it before drinking because it settles to the bottom. The crystal light masks the tuna taste. Trust me, I know how it sounds. It's not that bad.

I cook up a big batch of this for the week, have it for smoko and lunch every day. chicken or turkey mince, browned in pan, add can of kidney beans, can of crushed tomatoes , sweet chilli sauce and some garlic with little bit of water and let it simmer and reduce. Tastes good cold and high in protein.

ceviche (don't check my spelling please) there was a post about it not too long ago in this section. I tried it, it tastes good and you can add as much fish in it as you want to get your protein. Pretty easy to make and tastes good cold, and best of all doesn't have much of a fish smell at the lunch table with your co workers lol.

from time to time i eat my chicken and rice cold, its a little ordinary but nothing some nandos sauce wont fix. Other wise try cooking your tuna up into patties. Get as much tuna as you want put it in a bowl, add 1-2 egg whites and a little flour to bind it all together. Add chopped onion or spring onion or anything else you feel like, any spices you feel like some sort of sauce then cook em up, easy enough to et cold
You can also eat hard boiled eggs, tuna from the can and beef jerky.

Its basically the first break at about 10am in a working day.
I thought about the blowjob thing for a moment but then I pictured the woman who drives the snack van near my work...I don't think she has all her teeth. lol:drool2:

How long would these be good for? My grandmother used to cook something similar as part of the big breakfast she cooked every morning, only she used salmon.
