Alright guys. They are going on November 18th. Its the only event I found in MA, RI, or CT other than a bench only meet. My mom called and said my wraps and singlet arrived at my house yesterday, so I can get that anytime to work out with, but I won't be getting a shirt or suit for at least another week and a half. Seeing this is the only meet around here anytime soon, and the one other person that is into PLing at my school is going, I was wonderig if I should go. I really don't care how well I do. I just ned to compete somewhere.

And if you think I should go, I'm assuming you would tell me to lift in the open since I'll be 20 in another 6 months.

And one other thing Strongman, is the open neck Fury IPF approved?

yes, the back is closed, just a little bit of neck has been cut away, so you can pull the shirt down, I doubt anyone will have a problem with it...the suit is also marked IPF arroved...

yeah go and do it. open extra conservitively since its your first meet. just pay attention at the rules briefing about all of the commands.

Well I guess that settles it. To the *edit USAPL* meet I shall go.

The judges won't allow the use of a visibly altered shirt. Well, hypothetically they won't, its in the rules.

if its a problem just go raw. your shirted bench will barely be higher than your raw bench by nov 11 anyway (the approx date that you will stop lifting and start resting up)

I was considing going to it raw before Strongman advertised the gear he was selling. New gear is way to expensive, and I didn't want to get ripped off on EBAY.

Bill Like Bj said just go it raw its not about the numbers its about competing and doing the best you can and then going back out and making new prs keep up the hard work.

Its not about the numbers its about competing and doing the best you can and then going back out and making new prs.

Exactly. Other than the fact that this is the only meet around here for a long time, I don't feel the urge to compete. I just wanna get stronger.
