View Full Version : Hello everyone! Whats your favorite ultra clean chicken recipe?

My lady is looking for a home made chicken rub, sauce or marinade with no carbs no sodium and no sugar. Or your favorite spices and seasonings you use to spruse up your plain chicken breasts when dieting very strict.Something quick easy and tasty please... Thanks Inkman

Cant beat the Foreman Grill... sprinkle/rub garlic on your chicken and wrap it up in foil... 8-9 minutes and presto! There are other seasonings that work well also but they all have salt. :(

make your own seasoning and leave salt out...

blend to taste:
paprika
blk pepper
lemon pepper
red pepper
oregano
basil
granulated garlic
granulated onion

a good wet marinade is always italian dressing... but once again, you can make your own..
minced garlic
minced onion
worcestershire sc
olive oil
crushed red pepper
fresh ground black pepper
lemon pepper
dash white wine
fresh squeezed lemons
truly the list goes on and on ...

I always say, as much as we have to eat ... just experiment and see what u like

This may sound like a stupid question....but do you cook the chicken in the george foreman while it is wrapped in foil?
I assume that would be so it doesn't stick?

I do a similar thing on the grill, but I never thought of doing it on the geroge foreman

yes and it makes the forman so mush easier to clean up too..

What's the point in using it then? I thought the point of the foreman grill was to leave grill marks on the chicken. You can just as easily wrap the chicken in foil and toss in the oven. To make grilling easier I take a wet paper towel and wipe it down while it is still hot. This removes any build up off of the grill...just wear an oven mit to protect your hand.

Garlic is great and don't over look dry chili flakes and paprika combined with it

I personally am addicted to all the Mrs. Dash flavors. They are soooo good and salt free! :thumb:
