Hey all! I've been online and checking up on you guys, but not posting a whole lot lately, been busy as with work/training/etc...Thought I better get back on board!
Injuries: Getting there, my back is about 99%, shoulders have settled down a lot, my hips are tight as hell due to some hip flexor issues. Lucky I have a good physio who is working very hard and painfully on me. Getting there. This week I squatted for the first time in 6 months without briefs and set 2
pr's! I've done some damage to my wrist, but I'm dealing with that by using lots of strapping tape...
Lifting: What can I say, I love squatting. Also happens to be the only thing thats going up. My bench has gone backwards this year. I've tried doing more, less, different, but I'm really struggling. Not enjoying bench days at the moment. So squat = good, dealift = good, bench = bad.
Kickboxing: Only about 10 weeks left till my return fight. 2 and a half years in the making. Have signed the contracts and I will be fighting for my 3rd world title. Training is going well, getting fit, and am a lot stronger than the last time I fought. Determined to make a statement that I am back, bigger stronger and better than ever.
All in all I'm going ok, and its good to see all you guys doing so well with your progress. As I said, I've been around, but not posting a lot. I'm back now though, I at least need help with my bench from you guys
